Gidget Goes To Las Vegas

Last week was an exciting week!  Gidget and I went to Las Vegas for the Shih Tzu National!  For a couple of months Gidget has been learnig to walk on a lead and also learning about being groomed and stacking herself on a table for exam.  All of this "training" was nothing short of amateur - we didn't go to any classes - we just worked here at home.  Fast forward to last Tuesday - Gidget gets swept up by her handler Greg at 8am and by 11am she's been put into her first show groom, has a lead around her neck with someone new at the other end, is standing on this stuff called carpeting on which she has never stepped foot, and she's in this great big ring with all of these other dogs that look a lot like her but in various colors.  Needless to say - day one didn't go so well.

Fast forward 24 hours and here she is:

By day four she was in the ribbons in what was deemed the most competitive class by Judge Filburn!  What a good girl!  And thank you Greg for your wonderful work!

Gidget will be spot shown by Greg Larson in the Midwest this Spring/Summer.

They Are Never With Us Long Enough

I had to send my first born baby to the bridge recently.  It was SO hard.  But it was time and she let me know.  They always do.  It didn't make it any easier.

Iris will always be my heart.  I loved this girl more than I ever knew I could love anyone, any dog or anything period.  I miss you baby.  I pray you will be there for me at the bridge.  Run free until then.  I love you.

And Then There Was One . . .

I have one remaining male puppy from the AM CH Kiki x AM/Intl CH Magic litter.  He is red/white with black tipping.  He would be a great pup for a family with well behaved children, for a home with an existing dog or for someone that just wants a beautiful Shih Tzu to love.  He has a great temperament and loves to be loved. 

If you are researching breeders now for a potential puppy, email me for more information.  FYI, mom Kiki weighs in at about 11 pounds, dad Magic weighs about 10 pounds.

We Are NO LONGER LIVE!

ETA 12/13/14:
My subscription to Join Me has expired and at a cost of nearly $200 to renew, I can not justify the expense right now.  I can run basic, but the code changes daily and I can not isolate the camera screen so my entire desktop would be visible to the public.  Plus, during the past two weeks I have had numerous technical problems that kept kicking the whole thing offline.  Many of you out there probably don't understand also the amount of time I have to dedicate to bring this feature to you on a day to day basis and I just can't continue this considering my current medical issues.

I'm sorry to those of you that enjoyed the cam, but this current litter is older now and I'm not really sure when I will breed another litter, so for now we are offline until further notice.  My apologies to current puppy buyers.

Finally!  Puppy-cam is BACK! 

I'm tweaking resolutions and trying to make the experience even more clear.  We'll see what happens. 

Try it out!  Go to www.joinme.com.  This is a secure site.  Join my meeting with the password wotehsinst - that's it!  You can download an app for iOS and Android devices or watch on you desktop!  Be advised that this will suck your data on mobile devices so be sure you are on wifi.
